Damage in Strawberry
Garden symphylan may damage strawberry roots, reducing vigor, but are only issues in non fumigated or perennial fields. They are rarely, if ever, reported in North Carolina strawberry production.
Management Options
Crop rotation or fumigation are the most effective forms of garden symphylan management.
